Kerry Washington proved she knows how to juggle her social life with being a mom.
On Tuesday (November 15), Washington stopped by The Jennifer Hudson Show and revealed that she stored her breast milk in the White House fridge while attending then-President Barack Obamaâs final party in office, the HuffPost reports.
âI was nursing at the time and I remember I brought my pump with me, just in case. And thank God, because at 2 a.m., I was like, âCan somebody show me a little closet where I can go and pump?ââ Washington recalled. âBecause Iâm not ready to leave this party!â
Jennifer Hudson, the host of the daytime talk show and mother of one, was seemingly impressed by the admission
"You put it in the fridge at the White House?" she said. "That baby got some special milk!"
The former Scandal star shares six-year-old son Caleb Kelechi and eight-year-old daughter Isabelle Amarachi with her husband Nnamdi Asomugha.
Last month, Washington appeared in Netflixâs fantasy film The School for Good and Evil playing Professor Dovey, a role she gushed about on social media.
âSheâs an amalgamation of some of the amazing teachers (including my mom!) that Iâve had throughout my life,â Washington wrote of her character on Instagram alongside a clip from the movie.
âSheâs passionate, hilarious, and super spirited,â she continued. âWhat a magical experience it was to get to play with this talented cast, writers and director.â
